NOW ENROLLING STUDENTS

The primary objective of West Coast Barber College is to provide students with a comprehensive course of instruction that include haircutting, hairstyling, shaving, rest facial, and all services that may be requested by a patron in a barber shop, or salon. Students will also learn to perform services like coloring, chemical relaxing, perms, scientific scalp massage and proper shampoo procedure.

Our mission is to prepare our students to be creative and skillful barbers, and train our students to pass the state board exam. We will also promote the continuing educational growth of the faculty, using current teaching methods and techniques.  Prior to entering the barbering profession, graduates are required to complete a thorough examination of skills and knowledge given by the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, under the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Licensed graduates will therefore be qualified to serve the general public in all phases of the Barbering profession and related occupations.
